Sub-processors

Last updated: 2026-10-17

These third parties process data on our behalf to run the Service. We share with each only what it needs for its task. We will update this page before adding a sub-processor that handles customer or end-user personal data.

Sub-processor Purpose Data it processes Location
Hetzner Online GmbH Hosting of the API, database, cache and queues All data stored by the Service (charts with birth moment and coordinates, account data, usage) Germany (Falkenstein, EU)
OpenRouter, Inc. and the model providers it routes to LLM features — paid plans only — and free-text place search For LLM interpretations: birth moment (UTC) and computed planet positions, never names or coordinates. For place search: the place text you send United States and the provider's regions
Open-Meteo (geocoding API) Turning a place name into coordinates and a time zone The place text you send to GET /v1/geolocation/places (no account data) See open-meteo.com
Dodo Payments Merchant of record for paid plans and packs: checkout, card processing, tax, receipts, customer portal Billing e-mail and the customer's payment details, which go to Dodo directly — we never receive card data; we receive the subscription status, the products bought and our account id United States / global
Resend Transactional e-mail (sign-up verification, account notices) Account e-mail address United States
Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) Error monitoring Technical error data; personal data in requests is not sent (send_default_pii=false) United States / EU
Cloudflare, Inc. (R2 object storage) Storage of generated report files; off-site copies of the daily database backups Report files for charts you request reports for; backup copies of all data stored by the Service (kept 14 days) EU (R2 EU jurisdiction)
Cloudflare, Inc. (DNS) DNS for astrolinkers.com Domain lookups only; API traffic does not pass through Cloudflare Global

On the Free plan no LLM interpretations are generated, and place search sends your text only to Open-Meteo — not to OpenRouter.
