Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern access to and use of the Astrolinkers API, its documentation, SDKs, dashboard and related services (together, the Service), provided by CHISHCHIN FEDOR, sole proprietor, Montevideo, Uruguay (Astrolinkers, "we", "us"), to the person or organisation that creates an account or uses an API key (the Customer, "you").

By creating an account, generating an API key or calling the API, you accept these Terms. If you accept them on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you may bind it.

1. The Service

The Service computes astrological charts and derived data (Western and Vedic), compatibility, calendars, reports and — on plans that include it — text written by large language models (LLM features). Results are calculations and interpretations for informational and entertainment purposes. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice.

2. Accounts and API keys

  • You must give a valid e-mail address and keep your credentials and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your keys. Revoke a key at once if it may have leaked.
  • One account per organisation unless we agree otherwise. Accounts are not transferable.
  • Keys are meant for server-side use. Do not embed them in mobile apps or web pages.

3. Plans, limits and commercial use

  • Free plan. You may use the Free plan in commercial products, including apps with paid subscriptions, and show results to your own end users. The Free plan is limited to the rate limits and request quotas published at Rate limits and Plans & usage and does not include LLM features: LLM-backed endpoints answer 403 plan_feature_unavailable.
  • Paid plans (Hobby, Pro) add higher limits and LLM features within a monthly LLM budget, at the prices shown at the time of purchase (Pricing). They renew every month or year until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and the plan runs to the end of the paid period.
  • Pay-as-you-go packs add request credits that are used after the plan's quota is spent; they do not expire and do not pay for LLM features.
  • Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, which charges the payment method, handles sales tax and VAT and issues receipts. Refunds follow the Refund policy.
  • We may change plan limits and features. We will announce material changes affecting existing customers at least 30 days in advance in the Changelog or by e-mail, except where a change is needed for security, abuse prevention or legal reasons.

4. Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". The Free plan has no uptime or support commitment (no SLA). We work to keep the Service available and correct but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your needs. Endpoints may be deprecated following the deprecation policy in the Changelog.

5. Acceptable use

You will not:

  1. resell, sublicense or expose the raw API (or a substantially similar API) as a competing service, or let third parties call the API with your keys;
  2. circumvent rate limits, quotas or plan restrictions — for example by opening several Free accounts or rotating keys;
  3. scrape, reverse-engineer or bulk-export the Service beyond normal use of the API;
  4. use the Service for unlawful purposes, to harass people, or to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person (such as hiring, credit, insurance or medical decisions) based on astrological results;
  5. present results to your users as scientific fact, or as medical, psychological, legal or financial advice;
  6. send data you are not allowed to process, or more personal data than the API needs — see Data & privacy for developers;
  7. interfere with or overload the Service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission (report vulnerabilities to hello@astrolinkers.com).

6. Your data and your end users

  • You keep all rights to the data you send. You give us a licence to process it only to provide, secure and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • For the personal data of your end users, you are the controller and we act as your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis (for example, consent) to send their data, for your own privacy notice, and for honouring their requests. We will help you with deletion — see Data & privacy for developers.
  • You may delete charts and all your data at any time through the API (DELETE /v1/charts/{id}, DELETE /v1/tenant/data).

7. Results and intellectual property

  • The Service, documentation, SDKs and our software remain ours. These Terms give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them during your subscription.
  • You may display, store and adapt the results you obtain through the API in your products. You may not use the API output to build a dataset for training a competing astrology API.
  • Attribution is appreciated but not required.

8. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate access, with notice where reasonable, if you breach these Terms, if your use threatens the Service or other customers, or if required by law. We may act without notice in urgent cases (security, abuse, unlawful use).
  • After termination you may still delete your data; otherwise we delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
  • Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period, or USD 100 if you used only the Free plan.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You will defend and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from your products, your end users' data that you sent without a lawful basis, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date and version above change with each update. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance as described in section 3. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. Disputes not settled by negotiation are subject to the competent courts of Montevideo, Uruguay, except where mandatory law of your country gives you other rights.
